Graeme Lee

Sales Director, Graeme Lee has been the driving force behind the MVIS’ Sales team for over a decade, read all about the man who makes the MVIS a success:

With over 15 years of experience in the Highways industry, I really enjoy the changeable nature of the rental market and the relationships that this has led to over the years. Travelling around the UK has given me an opportunity to really appreciate the country we have here, and there are not many towns or cities that I have not been to at some point. Additionally, many colleagues and customers alike have become close friends. I like to describe myself as driven, and always giving everything to a project. I still live by the old-fashioned values of honesty, integrity and trust.

With a large extended family, I’m kept busy in and out of work; and have always lived in the North East as I feel proud of my roots and heritage. I’m a keen sportsman and a sociable North Eastern lad. I was always destined to be in a role that involved a lot of talking to people from all walks of life.

I’m thrilled to be part of the MVIS team as Business Development Manager. With 10 years of experience in the transportation industry and 9 years in sales, I’m passionate about helping clients find the right solutions to meet their needs. I’m excited to bring my skills to MVIS and be part of driving the business forward as we continue to innovate in the signage and traffic management sector.

In my spare time, I’m a huge Tottenham Hotspur fan and a season ticket holder. There’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my weekends at the stadium, cheering on my favourite team with the same energy I bring to my work. When I am not at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, I am spending time with my wife and two boys. Spending time with them inspires me to work harder to help provide a better future for them.

My working background involves years of experience in sales, administration and design. I have also taught Adults and young people in Colleges. I bring with me quite a few transferable skills, communications, systems, learning product-based knowledge, working in timely environments, on my own and with a team. I aspire to develop further skills within this role as sales and customer relationships.

Working in this key sector is important to public safety and my responsibility within this is important to me. As are the environmental aspects of the products MVIS and provide to the marketplace.

The Companies’ integration of technology keeps the business agile within a competitive market. This sector is a new chapter for me, it is interesting to see how some aspects of sales are very similar, and other parts are completely different. Working with this dynamic and supportive team at MVIS excites me and will push me forward in a commercial market.

In my own time I enjoy yoga once or twice a week – it reminds me I am connected to my body; I am no expert; I enjoy the challenge and social side of class lead work.

I also enjoy dabbling in DIY, making objects and jewellery in precious and non-precious metals from time to time, it gives me pleasure and a sense of achievement. I love cooking, it gives me the opportunity to really get creative and I enjoy eating the results.

Every now and then I get involved in arts projects. Nocturnal Rainbows and Derwent Pulse most relate to my current job role, LED lights, over 250 units which I soldered up and helped put the units together.

My friends, long chats and laughter are an important aspect of my world, they keep me grounded.

Joining the MVIS team in July 2022, I lead the Marketing department on a daily basis and really enjoy the challenge of promoting ITS Solutions. Working closely with the rest of the management team to plan and execute effective campaigns that keep our reputation as leaders in ideas and innovation.

After graduating with BA Hons Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Western England (Bristol) in 2008 I have worked in Marketing & Design ever since. The opportunity to take up the role of Marketing Manager at MVIS was the ideal challenge for me in a new and exciting industry. Since starting with the company we have already achieved a great deal.  From a rebrand of the companies social media and digital content through to pushing the #TRUSTINMVIS ethos, built on our company values & culture. My aim is to create informative and engaging content that best suits the ever-changing demands the the Highways & ITS market require.

Outside of work, I am (long suffering) Derby County fan. For over a decade now, my Dad and I have been season ticket holders and continue to support the team both home and away. I have also recently moved into a new home with my girlfriend and my 2 step-sons and we are constantly finding ways of making the house into our forever home.

I initially joined MVIS in September of 2020 as a Data Assistant. Being in a marketing environment has taught me a lot over my years in the company.

When I finished my Film Production degree from the University of Derby, I was promoted to Digital Content Creator and my years at university and my experience using the  Adobe suite of programmes, attributed to that position.

After having the opportunity to talk to new and existing customers at the Emergency Services show and Highways UK, I was moved into the Sales team, as their new Sales and Marketing Executive. I enjoyed being in sales and the challenge of being able to balance Sales and Marketing in my schedule.

After having a new CEO I was moved back into the Marketing team to help improve SEO and Monitor Social media.

Outside of work, I like to spend time with my family. I like to game with friends and find it is the best way to keep in contact with them.

Having started MVIS November 2023, I am excited to contribute to my new role and assist the sales team to the best of my abilities.

I have a storied history of working in administration, having assisted in a preschool when my two boys were younger. Once they had grown up, I was able to move into a new role as Business Admin at a Childrens Home. With this experience I am excited to start assisting the world of ITS Solutions and ready to work with a new team.

Outside of work I am helping my 24-year-old renovate his house and continuing to pursue my passion for walking around the areas near my new house and going on cruises with my partner. I also enjoy visiting my youngest at his University in York.
