The Arkwright Society
Here at MVIS/Bartco UK we are always keen to contribute to our local community and offer support when possible. After reports that our local tourist attractions were being abused during lockdown, in line with our corporate social responsibilities, we wanted to see if we could offer support in Matlock, where our Head Office is located.
We got in touch with the
Arkwright Society, a registered charity engaged in the conservation of industrial monuments in Derbyshire, to offer them a week’s free hire of two of our
VMS-A units, perfect for public updates and information.
This free trial proved that our units were offering support and reducing the foot traffic on the land and therefore was extended to a full contract with the Arkwright society.
Within the feedback we received from the Arkwright Society, there was a special mention for Maggie Spencer and Mizzy Watson for helping to organise it as well as George Sheldon for his friendliness and helpfulness in delivery and deployment.
Doing this has not only allowed us to develop a new business relationship with them but it has also opened a new doorway of support that in future we may be able to offer, such as aiding with events or projects that as a company, we take pride in supporting.
Building relationships is a cornerstone of our business. In order to provide the best service possible, we make a point of learning about the needs of our customers, building a relationship based on the trust that we can support them when they require us.
Projects of community support like this offer us a great opportunity to help our local area with the expert-level service we are known for, from large scale highways projects to local events.
